Directions to the Florida State Fairgrounds

U.S. Highway 301 Main Entrance

The main entrance to the Florida State Fairgrounds is on U.S. Highway 301. Fairgoers can follow the directions below for entrance via the U.S. 301 entrance gate.

From Tampa or St. Pete/Clearwater via I-275 to I-4 Eastbound

  1. 1.Travel on I-275 North toward I-4/Orlando and merge onto I-4 East via Exit 45B.
  2. 2.Take Exit #7 (U.S. 301 South) and stay in the right lane heading south for 1/4 mile.
  3. 3.Turn RIGHT into The Fairgrounds entrance.
  4. 4.Do NOT go past the light at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.

From Lakeland/Orlando via I-4 Westbound

  1. 1.Travel on I-4 West toward Tampa to Exit #7 toward U.S. Highway 92 West/Hillsborough Ave.
  2. 2.Merge onto U.S. 301 South toward Riverview and head south 1/4 mile.
  3. 3.Turn RIGHT into The Fairgrounds entrance.
  4. 4.Do NOT go past the light at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.

From Sarasota via I-75 Northbound

  1. 1.Traveling north on I-75, take Exit #260.
  2. 2.Merge LEFT onto Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. (SR 574 West).
  3. 3.Turn RIGHT at the light at U.S. 301.
  4. 4.Turn LEFT at The Fairgrounds entrance across from the Holiday Inn Express and Winghouse Restaurant.

From Ocala via I-75 Southbound

  1. 1.Traveling south on I-75, take Exit #260.
  2. 2.Merge RIGHT onto Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
  3. 3.Go west for 2.5 miles and pass the light at U.S. 301.
  4. 4.Turn RIGHT into The Fairgrounds entrance.

For select events, including seasonal Cracker Country events and competitions, please follow the directions below for entrance via the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.

From Tampa or St. Pete/Clearwater via I-275 to I-4 Eastbound

  1. 1.Travel on I-275 North toward I-4/Orlando, and merge onto I-4 East via Exit #45B.
  2. 2.Take Exit #5 (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd./SR 574 West).
  3. 3.Turn RIGHT off the ramp, and go past the Orient Road light.
  4. 4.Turn LEFT into The Fairgrounds entrance.

From Lakeland/Orlando via I-4 Westbound

  1. 1.Travel on I-4 West toward Tampa.
  2. 2.Take exit #5 (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.).
  3. 3.Turn LEFT off the ramp, and go past the Orient Road light.
  4. 4.Turn LEFT into The Fairgrounds entrance.

From Sarasota via I-75 Northbound

  1. 1.Traveling north on I-75, take Exit #260.
  2. 2.Merge LEFT onto Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd./SR 574 West and go west for 2.5 miles.
  3. 3.Turn RIGHT after you pass the light at U.S. 301 into The Fairgrounds entrance.

From Ocala via I-75 Southbound

  1. 1.Traveling south on I-75, take Exit #260.
  2. 2.Merge RIGHT onto Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd./SR 574 West and go west for 2.5 miles.
  3. 3.Turn RIGHT after you pass the light at U.S. 301 into The Fairgrounds entrance.

Orient Road Service Entrance

For competition deliveries, school trips to Cracker Country, tours, and any other visitor requiring special access, follow the directions below for entrance via the Orient Road service entrance gate.

From Tampa or St. Pete/Clearwater via I-275 to I-4 Eastbound

  1. 1.Travel on I-4 East, and take Exit #6 for Orient Road.
  2. 2.Turn RIGHT off the ramp, and there will be a sign for The Fairgrounds entrance.
  3. 3.Turn LEFT immediately into the entrance on the left.
  4. 4.Check-in at the security guard gate for entry.

From Lakeland/Orlando via I-4 Westbound

  1. 1.Travel on I-4 West toward Tampa, and take Exit #7 and merge onto US 92 West/E. Hillsborough Ave.
  2. 2.Turn LEFT at the light at Orient Road and there will be a sign for The Fairgrounds entrance.
  3. 3.Turn LEFT immediately into The Fairgrounds entrance.
  4. 4.Check-in at the security guard gate for entry.

From Sarasota via I-75 Northbound

  1. 1.Traveling north on I-75, take Exit #261 toward I-4 West.
  2. 2.Take Exit #7 and merge onto U.S. 92 West/E. Hillsborough Ave.
